1. Who you are buying from

This website is operated by Glow Theory. You can reach us at hello@glowtheory-skincare.co.uk and we answer within one working day.

In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Glow Theory. “You” means the person placing the order.

2. These terms apply

By placing an order you agree to these terms. Please read them before you order. We may change them from time to time; the version in force is the one published on this page when you place your order.

These terms are written in English and the contract between us is concluded in English.

3. Our products

The Glow Theory Mask is a cosmetic light device intended for general at-home use on the appearance of skin. It is not a medical device, it is not registered with the MHRA, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition. Nothing on this website should be read as medical advice.

If you are pregnant, have a skin condition, are taking photosensitising medication, or have any doubt at all about whether the product is suitable for you, speak to a doctor or pharmacist before using it.

Product images on this site are illustrative. Colours may vary between screens.

4. How the contract is formed

1. You place an order through the checkout.
2. We send an acknowledgement email. This is not acceptance of your order.
3. The contract comes into existence when we send you a dispatch confirmation email.

If we cannot accept your order — because the item is out of stock, because we cannot deliver to your address, or because of an error in the price or description — we will tell you and refund any payment in full.

5. Price and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. The price you pay is the price displayed at checkout at the time you order. Delivery within the United Kingdom is free unless stated otherwise at checkout.

Payment is taken at checkout through our payment provider. We do not see or store your full card details.

Obvious pricing errors are not binding. If the correct price is higher than the price shown, we will contact you before dispatch and you may cancel.

6. Delivery

We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom. Estimated delivery is 6 to 14 days from the date of your dispatch confirmation. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees.

Unless we agree otherwise, we will deliver within 30 days of the day the contract is formed. If we miss that deadline you may treat the contract as at an end and we will refund you in full.

The goods become your responsibility once they are delivered to the address you gave us. You own them once we have received payment in full.

7. Your right to cancel

You have 14 days from the day you receive the goods to cancel for any reason, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Our own 90-day returns promise sits on top of this and does not replace it. 8. Faulty goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights. If your mask is faulty, contact us at hello@glowtheory-skincare.co.uk.

9. Using the product safely

Follow the instructions in the manual supplied with the mask. In particular: do not use the mask while it is charging, keep your eyes closed during a session, do not use it more often than the manual recommends, and stop using it if your skin reacts. Keep it away from children.

10. Our liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and for breach of your legal rights in relation to the goods.

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking this contract or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable, or for business losses — we supply the goods for domestic and private use only.

11. Events outside our control

We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by an event outside our reasonable control. If such an event occurs we will contact you as soon as possible and the time for performance will be extended. If the delay is substantial you may cancel and receive a refund for goods not delivered.

12. Complaints and disputes

If something has gone wrong, email hello@glowtheory-skincare.co.uk and we will try to resolve it. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, though if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your own country.

13. Other terms

We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation, and we will tell you in writing if we do. You may only transfer your rights to someone else with our written consent. This contract is between you and us; no other person has any rights to enforce it. If a court finds part of these terms unlawful, the rest will continue in force.
